Don't Over-Seed, Grass Paint It!

Over-seeding with winter rye grass is the traditional procedure for those who want to maintain a green lawn during the winter months. Over-seeding is very time consuming, expensive, and requires the use of large amounts of water. First, you have to go out and buy the seed, fertilizer, and equipment to spread it. You may even decide to have a landscaper do it for you which is another added cost. Once the seed and fertilizer is spread, it requires regular attention, and lots of watering. Now all you can do is wait, and hope that all your time and money that you invested wasn't wasted. Even if the birds don't eat all your seed, or a big rainstorm doesn't wash it all away, there is no guarantee that it will grow consistently. Most of the time, you end up with patches of longer, greener grass along with the brown dormant grass. Other benefits include: No seed or fertilizer to buy, no more long weekends spent on your lawn, no more crossing your fingers and hoping your efforts pay off, no more daily watering and expensive water bills, have a lush green lawn in hours, not weeks or months, little or no mowing during the winter, lasts up to 4 months, won't wash off, protects lawns against harsh winter temperatures, substantial reduction in water usage, non-toxic and environmentally safe, guaranteed, natural looking, "instant green" results, no spring transition period or preparation, prepares lawn for faster "green up" in spring, no more code violations or HOA fines, less time and money spent on lawn maintenance, contains a small amount of ammonia which benefits grass and works on all varieties of grass.
